An update

Well, I'm pretty sure at this point that you all know I'm not the best at updating my blog.  Oh well, Life happens.  But, I decided it's time for an updated.

November:
Thanksgiving -- I love Thanksgiving, it's my favorite holiday.  I love good food and being with family.  I LOVE shopping the day after Thanksgiving with my mom.  It has become a huge tradition for us.  Some people think it's crazy but we love it.  I don't even think that it's the shopping, its just being together and laughing at everyone and their crazy desires.  Another fun tradition we have is that my parents take all of us adults to The Roof restaurant on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  We've done it for years an I love it.

December:
December is always such a fun and busy month.  The girls had their in-studio concert this year.  Personally I actually like it better.  I wish they would do it every year.  I don't have to buy a costume, it's just during class, and I can see them so much better.  Here's pictures of the girls at their in-class concert this year.

Lots to do in December. Christmas was a blast. The kids are at such a fun age. They seemed to love everything that they got.  I didn't take a lot of pictures (I know you're shocked), but here's one of each of them:

New Years Eve was a BLAST.  We had a small party at home.  The kids all made it up until about 12:30, with the help of a few little friends.  They loved it.

January:
I love the start of a new year, it always bring such new beginnings.  New Years Day is always fun.  Trav watches football all day with his family.  I usually hang out at home and then go to my mom's for an early dinner and games with the kids.  I love to play games and Trav doesn't, so this day gives me a good opportunity to do it.

February:
Valentines, I'm not really into Valentines.  And, I was actually out of town on business.  I had to go to Anaheim for a USANA Celebration and then to Las Vegas for a Logo Merchandise Show.  The kids and Trav hate it when I'm gone, but I think it makes them appreciate me more.  I love coming home.

March:
This was kind of a sad month.  We lost my uncle to Pancreatic Cancer, we will miss him.  I ended up going to Arizona with my Mom, Dad, and sister Jen.  It was a sad time, we did have fun being together.  I also got to see some of my cousins that I haven't seen in almost 10 years.

Here's to looking forward to a great April!  Hopefully a lot of sunshine and warmer weather.....and a trip to Disneyland!

Here's a few cute pics to finish off this post:

Halloween

Well, I've been down for the last 2 1/2 weeks from my surgery.  It's been really hard, and not so fun.  I don't think I realized what an ordeal it was going to be.  I hope in a few weeks I'm actually glad that I did it.  I'll be glad to go back to work next week.  Anywhoo, now that I'm finally feeling a bit better I thought I'd do a little post with Halloween pictures.

Here are a few from the pumpkin patch.  The kids love to go and it's become a fun tradition.  They love the little corn maze and the tractors.

These are from Bo's preschool parade.  He has the cutest, funnest teachers.  At first he had a really hard time going to preschool but the last couple of weeks he has been so excited, so that's good.

Now, here are Halloween.  Ivie was a Baseball Girl (her pictures turned out a bit blurry, don't know why), Claire was a Witch and Bo was Knight in Shining Armour.  They all looked ADORABLE and had a blast.  It was hard for me to watch them leave to do all of the festivities without me.  But, I'll always have next year.

Happy Birthday Ivie!

We've had somewhat of a crazy month but in there we did celebrate Ivie's Birthday.  Ivie is such a sweet girls.  She is a great helper and sometimes probably has to help a little bit too much.  I love that she's getting a little older and we can have some really nice conversations.  She is very smart and responsible.  She only wanted Roller Blades and a Diary of a Wimpy Kid book.  That's pretty easy to handle.  She was SOOOO cute while opening her presents.  She LOVED everything and was so excited and appreciative about each present.  I loved watching her and wished I would have had more to give her just so I could watch her open them.  I sure do love that girl!

My Little Peanut Turns 6

Well, this one has been hard for me....Claire turns 6.  Bawled in the store while birthday shopping (pathetic, I know)  Claire is such a sweet little girl.  She is very happy and always smiling.  She's always willing to help.  She loves to do art projects.  She's very easy to please, she like anything girlie.  She talks 50 miles a minute at home, but is as quiet as can be if she doesn't know  you. I can't  believe she's getting so big, she'll be in first grade this year.

On her Birthday, she had a friend party.  We had a lot of fun.  The kid's each decorated their own cake, made candy necklaces, and decorated a chef hat for themselves. I'm so grateful to my mom who helped me out with the party.  She also made cute aprons for all of the kids which was part of their treat bags.

This picture just makes me laugh.  She was having a hard time opening the present and was making a cute face.

Happy Birthday to my sweet little Claire Bear.  I love you so much, you are such a blessing in my life.

The Latest

From most recent:

Girls Dance Concert -- they did great. I'm so proud of them. Ivie has learned so much this year. She had an AWESOME teacher who really worked with the girls. They danced to a song from the Tinkerbell movie called "If You Believe". She did great. Claire had so much fun. She did so good with her cute little class. They danced to "Raining Sunshine" from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. She had a yellow parasol that matched her costume perfectly!

Bo's Birthday was really fun. He got a LOT of Spiderman stuff (which he totally loves). I can't believe that my baby is 3 already. I feel like it was yesterday when I brought him home from the hospital (and then I blinked). Here he is with his cake and then with his Spiderman costume on (he's worn it everywhere the last month).

Well, Trav and I have been home from our cruise for over a month now. We had a blast. I think it was the most relaxing vacation I've ever had. It was so nice to be with Trav for a week and have no worries. Here's a few pics, all from Cabo San Lucas, our favorite (more pics on facebook).
