I love Christmas Day. It is so crazy, but I always feel so grateful for all that I have. I am so blessed with a wonderful husband, beautiful kids, a great family, and great friends. Thanks to all of you who have blessed my life. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Happy New Year!

Christmas Concert

The girls had their Christmas Concert last week. They did so good. It was so cute. I love watching them. It's so funny how, no matter who you are, you're positive that your daughters did the best! I think mine did the best in their group for sure. Someday (when I get around to downloading it) I'll post the video. They sure looked cute though!

Getting Old

I really like to think that I'm young (even though I'm not anymore). Last night, I went to my girls' dance class. They got their costumes for their Christmas Concert last night. They looked so cute. I was watching them dance and almost started crying. I'm so proud of both of them. They are such good girls and are both really good dancers. Although it was a great day/night, It made me think about how old I really am. I have three kids, crazy. When did all of this happen? I guess it just really made me think about how luck I am to have my family and my friends. Life just flies by so fast, I need to savor every minute (and this is something I really need to work on). Here's some cute pictures of the girls from last night. I'll post some next week after their Concert too.

Ivie Amazes Me!

So, yesterday I was combing Ivie's hair and she says to me, "Mom, do you know how to make a slideshow?" I said, "Do you mean with PowerPoint?" She says, "Yes. We've been using PowerPoint in school. I had to write a story and put in pictures and do a Presentation to my class. My teacher says we get to show them to you at Parent/Teacher conferences." She's 7 and in second grade. I can't believe how young they learn these things. She was really excited when I told her we had PowerPoint on our computer at home, she made another PowerPoint last night and was working on another when I went to work this mroining. I love that girl, she's such a sweetie!

Two weeks from today .....

Two weeks from day is one of my FAVORITE days of the year, Black Friday. Who doesn't love it. I love getting up early (so early) and going shopping with my Mom and sisters. It is so fun. I'm hoping to get a lot of Christmas Shopping done that day. Now, I guess I need to start worrying about the quest to find a babysitter.

Halloween at the Searles

We had a fun Halloween this year. The kids got a TON of candy and had fun showing off their costumes. Claire had a fun preschool Halloween parade and got enough candy to skip trick-or-treating all together. The girls both had dance parties too. Then on Halloween we had a Trunk-or-Treat and then made our way to all of the grandparents houses too. They were all tired when it was over! Here's some pictures of them.

Seriously???

Okay, Seriously, someone stole our pumpkins. How stupid is that? Yesterday, Claire went to the Pumpkin Patch with her preschool class and came home with a darling pumpkin that they had painted and put hair on (so cute). So, last night, I was going out to go put it on our front porch with our other pumpkins, but our other pumpkins were no where to be found. I was so bugged. Now, I have to go buy more pumpkins. Seriously, who steels pumpkins? Anyway, I decided against putting Claire's out on the front porch until Halloween.

Trav and I take a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth

It's been quite a while since Trav and I took a trip on our own (like 2 years). So, we decided it was time to go. And of course, we hit Disneyland. (where else would the Searle's go) We had so much fun, it was a great time to go. It was decorated sooooo cute for Halloween, we loved it. The Haunted Mansion was completely different, they transformed it into The Nightmare Before Christmas. I think we'll take the kids next year around the same time.

One day we went to LA to a dumpy, scummy, little place called Santee Alley. It's where you get purses, shoes, sunglasses, stuff like that. It's a hole in the wall and kind of funny. My husband was a little scared (wuss), but got some Raiders shoes for pretty cheap (so that was worth it). We missed the kids, but had a blast. We decided that we need at least one trip a year on our own.

My advice to all of you is to go on a trip without the kids once in a while. It's great for your marriage! Also, for those of you who know me, know that I didn't even take a camera. I'm starting to get a bit better with the kids, but for me a Trav (no way would I drag that around). So, sorry, no pictures. I hate pictures of myself anyway!

Which Sports Car Are You?

I'm a Chevrolet Corvette!

You're a classic - powerful, athletic, and competitive. You're all about winning the race and getting the job done. While you have a practical everyday side, you get wild when anyone pushes your pedal. You hate to lose, but you hardly ever do.

San Francisco

So, I went to San Jose last week for work. At our Convention we introduced a new Energy Drink called REV3. It's really good. We went to a meeting to sample our new drink. Our Associates LOVED it. On Friday we had some free time and decided to go into San Francisco. It's been FOREVER since I've been there. It was pretty fun, even though we didn't have much time to do a whole lot. We went to Pier 39 and saw the Sea Lions. That was fun. They are cute, but they really stink. We also went on a boat tour that went out and under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz. It was fun. Here's a few photos.

Crazy Month

Those of you who know me well, know that every year we have a Convention at work. It keeps me busy (crazy busy) for about a month. I haven't had any extra time to do anything (blogging has not been a priority due to that). I'm so glad I'll have a minute to breathe. Anyway, here's a few photos to show you things that have been going on in our lives since the end of July, it's easier then posting messages to cover that amount of time.

Summer Fun

The girls did a little cheerleading camp at the High School last week. They had a blast. All of their friends did it. The shirts were huge, but aren't they cute!

Porter and Bo eating Otter Pops outside. Not a care in the world, don't you wish life was still like this? Bo is the one in the blue shirt on the right. Jeannette says they love to sit on that stair and eat their Otter Pops. They are so funny, they're a lot alike. Wild and Crazy boys!

SHARKS!!!

So, this morning I'm on my way to work and they were talking on the radio about this guy in Florida who happened to get a photo of a blacktip shark jumping out of the water right by a surfer. Would you not freak out? I'm such a wimp. But, apparently this is very common at New Smyrna Beach, FL, they see them all of the time. Okay, so don't surf there, you are going to get EATEN! There has already been like 12 shark bites this season there. Hello, go to a different beach! What an amazing shot though. Check out the whole story at http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/article4333715.ece.

Time flies!

I was looking at pictures the other day and just thinking about my life and how time flies by. It seems like it goes by even faster when you have kids. This picture is in the hospital when I had my last baby, my oldest child holding my youngest child. CRAZY! I can't believe that I have 3 kids and that I'm 30 (that's a killer). It's going to be so soon that Ivie will be a teenager and Bo will be playing sports. I love my kids so much, they are so fun. I wish I had their energy and their little spirits. I am going to cherish every minute I have with them.

My Celebrity Look-alikes

Okay, so I totally do NOT look like any of these people but it's fun to do. This is who My Heritage says I look like. It probably would help if you have a decent picture of yourself. I am so not photogenic and on top of that I HATE getting my picture taken so it doesn't help at all.

My Boys

Aren't they cute! Travis was so excited to get Bo a matching jersey. I usually roll my eyes at this sort of thing, but I think they look adorable. It's fun to have a little boy that looks just like his dad.

Ivie is so excited becuase she gets to go to the zoo tomorrow for her field trip. She has been loving this last few weeks of school. She used to always want to go to bed right at 8:00, I think she's getting older becuase all fo the sudden she wants to stay up later. It's been kind of fun, she's getting so big.

Claire is looking forward to preschool. She prays everyday that her and Anna (her friend) can go to preschool. They are in the same class and start in September. It will be really good for them.

I had to take Bo to the doctor on Monday becuase he got his finger slammed in the door. They would have done stitches but it was in the wrong place for stitches. They also thought his finger was broke but decided not to do x-rays because he's so small and they'll do the same thing regardless. I have to splint his finger each day, boy that's sure fun with a 14 month-old boy!

It's About Time!

Well, I decided that it's time for me to start my own blog. It is so fun doing. I'm still trying to figure things out, but I'm having fun. I find it so fascinating to go to other peoples blogs and find out what is going on with them, it's addicting.

Things at my house are never dull. The kids keep me busy all of the time. Ivie is almost done with school, only two more weeks. She told me yesterday that "She's finally starting to like school." I know she's always loved it. Claire always keeps us laughing, she's my cute little peanut. Bo is wild and crazy. He is so fun and so sweet, it's a good thing. He keeps me on my toes and busy all of the time.

With Father's Day coming up, I can't help but think about my own Dad and how wonderful he is. I've never met a more caring person. I only hope that I will ever be half the person that he is . My dad is such and example to me. He has taught me to be hard-working, to serve others, love, patience, kindness, and the list goes on and on . I love my dad so much.

And, my husband. He is an amazing man. He puts up with a lot from me and sometimes I wonder how he does it. He is really busy and has a lot on his mind right now. He's a wonderful husband and father. I am so grateful for him.

We went to Disneyland a few weeks ago. We had a great time. The girls loved it and enjoyed all of the rides. Bo had more fun with his ice cream and in the hotel room. But, we made a lot of great memories and, to me, that's what life is all about. And, I guess it's about time to start planning our next vacation....
